INTRO: “Emmanuel” means “God with us”. This stunning truth is at the very heart of Christmas. In Jesus, God didn’t stay distant or detached; He stepped into our world with love, understanding, and a presence that never leaves us. We cannot afford to lose the child-like awe and wonder of what it truly means that God is near, God is for us, God understands our struggles, and God faithfully walks with us. Christmas is more than a moment in a manger - it is the promise that the God who came to us is the God who stays with us.
