INTRO: As we enter the Christmas season, many of us carry a mix of joy and heaviness—facing decisions we don’t know how to make, challenges we can’t fix, and uncertainties that feel overwhelming. God’s people in Isaiah’s day felt the same way, walking through deep darkness and desperate for hope. Into that moment, God didn’t offer a strategy but a Savior, promising a Child who would be called Wonderful Counselor—One who would speak wisdom, bring clarity, and guide His people through life’s confusion. Today, we look at how Jesus fulfills that promise and how His counsel brings real hope to us in our own seasons of uncertainty.
