TEXT: 2 Corinthians 3:18; Galatians 5:13-26

INTRO: God chooses ordinary people, but He does not leave us the way He found us. When we place our faith in Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit comes to dwell within us and begins the lifelong work of transforming us into the image of Christ. This transformation is rarely instant; it is an ongoing process of surrender as the Spirit produces the character of Jesus in us—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Before the Holy Spirit does extraordinary things through us, He does an extraordinary work in us.
