TEXT:  Joel 2:12-13

INTRO:  There comes a moment in the life of most believers where the fire grows a little cold.  It's easy to slowly drift from our true love and neglect our relationship with the Most High.  In those moments, God calls His children to rebuild the altars, to return to Him, restore our proper worship of Him, and renew our hearts towards Him once again.  Joel tells us to "Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love."  This reminder of who God is should fill us with hope and drive us to repentance as we Rebuild the altars!
