Becoming the Kingdom

Text: Matthew 13:24-30, 36-43

Intro: The Kingdom of God is present in the world, but it is not yet fully revealed. Like wheat and weeds growing together in the same field, good and evil coexist around us, often appearing difficult to distinguish. Jesus teaches that God's delay in judgment is not weakness or neglect, but mercy, giving people time to repent and be transformed by His grace. While the day of harvest will ultimately reveal what is genuine, Christ calls His followers to remain faithful in the midst of a messy world, growing into the people God created them to be. Those who follow the King today will one day fulfill Daniel's prophecy and Jesus' promise: they will shine like the sun in the Kingdom of their Father.
