TEXT: Hebrews 6:1-3
INTRO: It is not enough to simply believe in Jesus, repeat a prayer, and continue living the same as we did before we met Christ. It’s also not enough to simply read the Bible through in a year and get the basics and stop there. Many times throughout Scripture, we are called not just to believe in Jesus, but to grow and mature in our faith. To grow in our faith, we must intentionally move beyond the basics and pursue a deeper knowledge of God and His ways, following the example of Jesus Christ as our guide to maturity.
